The month of July continues! Ben has been out on his mission for about three weeks now and already a ton has happened.
I've been making these little fabric flowers and putting them on headbands for Melanie. Aren't they cute?
OH! I almost forgot, we got this little Munchkin's ears peirced! Earrings are so flippin' cute on her!
We got it done at the mall and she did really well!
The other night we went over to Dallan's Grandparents' house. Melanie sure loves them. Can't you tell?
And boy do they LOVE her!
They haven't had babies around for a long time. Everyone has grown up and since Melanie came along, she's made everyone's lives a little brighter.
Babies have such an innocence and sweet spirit about them.
We went out to dinner with Dallan's family one night and this was Melanie's look when we got our food. Hahaha! I think she wanted some, and do you blame her? They have the best dinner rolls and honey butter! Mmmm!
Look at those chubby cheeks! I want to eat them!
Dallan read Melanie a book that was read to him when he was a little boy. It's called "The Very Bumpy Bus Ride."
She loves it! Her facial expression is priceless! "Daddy read more! Keep reading!"
For my mom's birthday on the 5th, she wanted to go to Panda Express. That's where we found out that she loves and I mean LOVES to drink water!
She was like a little bird waiting for a worm. Hahaha!
My friend from work make these cute little crocheted owls. They are the cutest! Every little girl wears flowers in their hair, why not an adorable little owl instead?
One Sunday evening we spent time as a little family at our Stake Center's pavilion. We took Abby with us. Abby loved to run and take in the fresh air. Melanie really got a kick out of watching her run the entire length of the pavilion.
Melanie was probably thinking, "What a psycho dog." Hahaha!
Melanie and her screaming face....
She was fascinated with the grass.
More scream faces from Squish and her trying to reach for the camera.
Dallan and I sure love this little girl.
Melanie can't walk on her own yet, but she can support her own weight and take steps with some help from Daddy.
The Gateway Mall had an Art Festival the other day and we went to check it out. It was pretty cool. They were selling all sorts art. Pictures, paintings, jewelry, pottery, and much more.
Squish does this new thing where she loves to give hugs and wet, slobbery kisses. I absolutely Iove it. It's so cute and sweet.
Melanie loves Ben the cat. He lives with Grandma and Grandpa Hope. I swear this animal is a dog in a cat's body. This is the sweetest most NOT obnoxious cat I've ever met.
We spent the day at Mirror Lake in Campus, UT this last week and it was so fun. I highly suggest going there. Beautiful views and great walk around the actual lake!
Here are some pictures of our little adventure!!
On Pioneer Day (the 24th of July) we had some fun with my family. We had a glorious nap. Hahaha! We rested up and then had a tickle fight! Melanie thought that was funny. We followed that with an AWESOME barbecue, then dessert at Baskin Robins.
We watched fireworks from the Oquirrh Mountain Temple grounds. Best seats in town for firework watching. You can see them all across the Salt Lake valley. It's so pretty.
Happy Pioneer Day! This month has been one full of adventure!
More to come!
