As the weather gets colder and the leaves change color, Football continues. I don't know if I have mentioned this on the blog yet, but my father-in-law is a Riverton high school football coach.
Of course he HAD to get Melanie her very own football shirt! She's Grandpa's little Silver Wolf.
Funny story behind this picture. So the TV was on and a commercial for Despicable Me 2 came on. When Squish saw the little yellow minions she started to SUPER excited. Later that night we went to the store and bought her The Little Mermaid and the 1st Despicable Me. This picture is of us watching the beginning of Despicable Me. She was entertained for a little while then got bored. Hahaha!
I think she may still be a little too young for movies.

Visit to City Creek!
Melanie got a kick out of watching the awesome fountain that they have there.
We like to visit our Grandma and Grandpa Hope. They appreciate us coming over and letting them watch Melanie grow. It's neat that we have such a close relationship with them. This last time we were at their house, Grandma brought Melanie this little humming bird figuring that played music. Melanie was mesmerized!
One Saturday when I got to work I took this picture and sent it to Dallan via text while he was at home with Melanie. What husband doesn't like when his wife shows him she loves him? I couldn't call or see him so this was the next best thing!
I LOVE MY MAN!
We started getting Squish toys that help with learning. For example, this toy helps with matching shapes, colors, ABC's, and animals. She seems to love it!
So far she hasn't gotten bored with it! Hahaha!
Melanie loves the birds! She chases them around everywhere. Even squawks like one. Haha!
She sure loves to read.
I love these little hugs. They make my heart melt.
Love her to pieces.
One day during the week Dallan and I both happened to have the same day off. We decided to take a trip to Wheeler Farm. It's such a cute little place. Perfect for young families. Tons of animals, ducks that you can feed, picnic tables to eat lunch, they even have a black smith that you can watch making horse shoes.
Here's a butt load of ducks and geese. This wasn't even all of them! There were tons and tons!
Testing out the tractor and checking out the barn!
The first picture made me chuckle so I had to take a picture of it.
Fun meeting the horses. This was the first time she ever saw a horse!
Our baby is growing up so fast!
This little girl is already 9 months! Geez Luis how time flies.
Here's the black smith. He was pretty cool and VERY knowledgeable about what he was doing.
After Wheeler Farm we went and visited our Grandma Ebert. She enjoyed the company.
Before going to Grandma Ebert's house, we went to a place called The Winder Dairy. They have THE BEST chocolate milk, hands down. We also just had to let Melanie try their tasty cinnamon bread. One bite and she was addicted!
Before checking out Winder Dairy we took Melanie to visit Dallan's Grandpa Ebert. Grandpa passed away in 2002. Even though he's not with us physically, we still like to go visit him when we can and sit on the grass where he is buried. I like to just sit there, listen to the leaves blowing in the wind, feel the crisp air, and just think. Even though I've never met Grandpa Ebert, I feel like I've known him for a long time.
I bet Dallan's Grandpa Ebert and my Tata Hugo are in heaven and becoming good friends doing missionary work together.
We love and miss our grandfathers, but we KNOW we will see and be with them again someday!
