Ok so I know it's been FOREVER since the last time I've blogged. That's because Dallan uses the computer all the time now for school. He's taking 14 credit hours and all of his classes are online so he is ALWAYS using the computer. In fact, he needs the computer right now for school, so I'm going to make this quick.
Here are Melanie and Grandma decorating cookies together.
She has so much fun with this.
Since the weather has gotten a lot warmer. Melanie and my dad planted some tomato plants in their back yard. Melanie has quite the green thumb.
Melanie was so proud that she had found this lady bud in front of my in-laws' house. She was so happy with it that she gave it a name and everything. She called it Fluffy. Hahaha!
Anna's reaction to feeling grass for the first time.
She didn't like it at first.
Then it wasn't so bad....
Love her.
Anna had lots of firsts that day. She felt grass for the first time and then she also had her first swing experience.
Needless to say, from the looks of this picture she LOVED having her big sister push her.
Having fun on the swing!
Just a little girl playing in the dirt and her dog watching her back.
Summer time means meeting up with friends and family at the nursery and going wild buying all sorts of plants.
Ohhhhhhh..... Fishy fishy.
Our Mother's Day picture taken on... Well of course... Mother's Day!
We got the opportunity to hang out with my cousin before we dropped her off at the MTC so she could serve an LDS Mission.
Bye Jessica!! You are going to be such an awesome Missionary!!!
We added a new addition to our family. This is Scout. He is a golden-doodle.
Melanie was so happy and proud that she got to hold him all the way home.
So cute.
"Look Mommy, we are both doggies!"
We went to the Zoo with our great friends the Hugies.
Thank goodness for ring slings to carry sweet sleepy babies.
Say CHEESE everyone!
The elephants were my favorite.
Abby with her new little brother.
Anna's face in this picture cracks me up. She totally has a hold of Melanie's hair and won't let go.
Hahaha!
"Look Mom! Dad gave me crazy hair!"
One of my favorite things to see. Dallan holding the girls and them just enjoying each other's company. So sweet.
We caught my dad and Melanie just sitting on the grass together looking for humming birds.
Grandma and Grandpa Hope love their kiddos. So cute!
Melanie had her first Swig. Mmmmm!
Off to the cabin we went!
Pretty views all the way around.
Utah is pretty awesome for pretty scenery.
Cabin Sweet Cabin.
This was another one of Anna's "firsts."
Her first cabin trip. She did soooo well!
Playin' cards with Grandma Hope.
Looking at clouds.
Melanie found an inch worm.
Pretty sunset completes the first night at the cabin. This picture doesn't do it justice!
We found a bird's nest while we were going for a walk and Melanie saw four pretty blue eggs inside!
For Memorial Day, we took a drive in the mountains with my parents. The PLAN was to have a nice picnic at Mirror Lake, but as you can see..... the further up the mountain we got, the more SNOW there was...
Turned out, Mirror Lake was closed because of the 6ft wall of snow... Not to mention the actual lake was FROZEN OVER. Hahahaha! Good times.
So we headed back down the mountain and found this pretty place to stop with a waterfall.
Family picture time!
Melanie had her FIRST dance recital coming up. She was soooo stinkin' cute in her outfit.
Little dance friends.
She had her first photo shoot with her dance team.
She rocked it like a pro!
We've had a lot of fun this summer so far. Next blog, I'll post about our vacation that we have taken! So excited to go to San DIEGO!!! Summer means lots of fun with family.
